Looks interesting, but what is the price tag on that sucker? I bet it is up there with the australian offroad designed trailer which are way more up my alley but not my budget (50,000 ish)

They start at $10,000 and are very we'll equipped even at the base model.

Interesting - I wonder how it would work off road...

My guess also. Would probably work great for pulling into a campground.

honestly it looks flimsy to me...maybe im not looking at it with my head slanted at the right angle but it just seems weak to me...im sure its pretty light and easy to pull but that i believe can also work against you in quality...i guess i just dont get the joint between the front and back...kinda like a bugs wings what arent fully pulled in...

Yeah I definetly would not take it off road, maybe some fireroads but no trails. You can easily take a old pop up frame mod it out to a sweet offroad camper. I would customize an old trailer frame to my specs before I took that thing offroading.

yeah i would like to find and smaller pop up trailer and see what i could do as far as preparing it for offroad...obviously suspension and tires ie. ground clearance would be the first priority..but i think it could be done...i like some of the teardrop trailers that i have seen some of them have been built specific to offroad...

but then again a good roof top tent and all the accessories would fit the bill too...and be alot more practical for off road...
i do plan on building an "offroad" trailer in the future ...basing it on the militay M416 trailers...id rather build than buy as it is a whole lot cheaper...alot of those companies building them are really really proud of their stuff and it certainly reflects in the pricing...3k-4k for some welded steel...i dont think so...lol

It's not made for off road but they're currently working on an off road version. They said it has a higher ground clearance than an SUV and would be fine on dirt road or MILD off road but nothing too intense. From what I've read, this thing is built like a frickin tank.... I mean, it was designed by a NASA architect so I'm sure the quality is great.

what i do like abou the Cricket is the hanging "hammock" style sleeping arrangements ...those are pretty cool...something i have never seen before in an away from home type of environment..i think those look way more comfortable than the typical hammock and take up no more space...

I've always wanted a military trailer but the weight alone crosses that off the list. I will mos def be building my own offroad trailer, or modifying another trailer to fit my bill.

Pretty nice rig the video was cool. Very well engineered, but I want a superlight road rig, and then a super beefy waterproof fold out tent one with high clearance.
