| Thanks bud! That's the link I found earlier. I called a local shop that wanted $290 for the fronts. Have you been happy with them? |

| I really like them. I had them on the 3rd (of 4) setting for a while, then added OME springs to the rear so I removed them and bumped them up to the 4th setting. The ride is pretty good, and the alignment is really close to factory. _________________ "CAMO" America's Away Colors...

| I bought 5100 Series front and rear package from www.downsouthmotorsports.com for 349.99 complete. All 4 shocks delivered to my home. I set front on # 4. Nose is up. "California look". Ride and handling is improved by 100 %. Stops nose dive and body roll in turns. Had it aligned and iy was off. 2012 w 3k miles, so I would have it aligned for sure. I gotta tell ya, you can chase around lookin for these and save 10 to maybe 50 bucks, but downsouth sells them for 379 on ebay all the time. If you tell them you are a FJCRUSIERFORM.COM member they discount it to 349. Those prices our follow members quoted, are from years gone by I think. I could not find those prices and I am tight, so I looked hard. Down south has great reputation. I had Cox Toyota in Burlington,NC install and align it. On a 1 to 5 I am at 6. Extremely satisfied. I have owned track cars CJ's, and Tundra's (new Body) and all have or had Bilstein. I like the nose up, set on # 4. I don't like the mommy haul me to the mall (nose) look of a down slope. That's why everybody wants it level. I have Nitto Terra 285-70-17 (17X8) And the thing handles great. It was not very good stock. I was mad at Toyota for awhile and had to just pay up to change everything. Toyota charged me about 350 to install including Front skid plate. and 60 to aligh. But its now done and I love the truck. Except for the seats. They feel like ployester church pews. Next Mod.

| Derek, you saw my FJ. Mine are on the 4th setting which lifts it 2.5" up front. I bought mine from Toytec over 3 years ago and paid less than $200 shipped back then. They have worked flawless and I have been to URE several times, Brown Mountain several times, hurricane creek several times, and to the OBX. They seem to be a very tough and rugged type of shock, well worth the money in my opinion. _________________ 2014 Ultimate Edition Trail Teams Jami Stanley |
