Anyone added extra 12v outlets and wired them to be always hot or just on with the ignition??

It's easiest to wire them always hot, and usually more convenient. There would be no adverse effects of wiring an outlet that way, unless you left an electronic plugged in that would drain your battery

I just recently ran one to the console and one to the back of the truck always hot. I also have one more under the console ready to do whatever I need it to do.

I ran a couple always hot. I also installed a stand alone fuse block and wired any and all electrical add ons through that.

Derek....based on how you handled the last sticker production/sale...I'd like to think you are responsible enough to keep in mind they are always hot and not kill youer battery; that was a compliment (I think).

I'd make them both hot. I did one each way on my wife's honda, and I kick myself for not keeping them the same.

Thanks! I found a thread on the blue room on wiring them(I'm not gifted with any electrical) together and it just seems easier to wire them together and run only wire to the fuse box so that's the route I think I'm going to go.
