Glad you joined our group Chris. Let's see what all the 2wheel drive can do! Does it have the electronic locking rear differential?

Welcome welcome!!! A two wheel drive FJ can do several of the trails we visit. While it is a bummer for us 4wd guys it just shows the FJ is just that capable of a machine. Looking forward to having you hang with us at any of our group outings.

Thanks for all the greetings you guys but I have some bad news
Day befor thanks giveing coming home with a friend I came up on a stop sign that I new was right there (drive this road every day to school) as I approached my brakes failed I had no control of the speed and was going down hill into a T intersection I was apoching climbing past 40
Scared to flip I cut threw a yard and I swar the fire hydrant was not there that morning
It dragged across the road and as we fell into a ditch about 20 feet down nearly rolled the car it kicked out the fire hydrant and the car came to a stop
No one was hert just banged up
My air bag ripped up the center and failed to fully inflate the passenger one went off fine
After getting out of the car and getting the to screaming girls out of the car and to the road
I climbed back in and tried to dive it out ( slid deeper in the hole ) after that failed I looked at the front of the car the bumper ripped off the frame bent in the radiator bent back and a few holes in my skid plates
This is a acdent I was vary lucky to walk away from in one peace
The car is fine all around except from the bottom of the grill down
The car is not totaled but the reason I am here is becouse these trucks are tanks
It did its job for the most part keeping me and my passengers safe.

There has been a recall for 2007-20012 fj cruiser for the TDR brake kits so if I was you I would take it and have it checked
I am lucky to still be alive and talking to you guys I will have my fj back and running in about 2 months max so I can't wait to get back with you guys
I would still like to try to make it to some events if I am allowed to tag along

Take ur trucks and have them checked out it takes an hr and it could save u from what happend to me

I'm pretty sure he knows what TRD is. Sounds to me like he was pulling your chain for typing TDR.
