My hat off to Mike. He built this bumper for my son't Chevy Z71...we gave him some pictures and he totally knocked it out of the park.

He needs a "company" name. I say we take suggestions:
1. Infidel Iron Works
2.

The first is too harsh towards people of muslim faith, there fore it should definitely be one of the latter two.

im gonna keep my mouth shut on this.....but as far as the bumper...im pretty proud of this one...i really like the way it turned out...i also built a bed bar for Scottydog's son...that holds a hilift jack 2 lights and 2 antenna mounts...once he gets his bed spray lined he will install that too...i think its pretty cool too...

People of my faith are offended by the latter two, so I think we need to come up with more names Very Happy

Or we could say screw political correctness and go with "FU Iron Works by Mike"

Really nice bumper Mike, so simple but functional it screams Awesome!

As for a name...hmmmm,

Obama Entitlement Works (OEW), where we feel a custom bumper should not be on the lavish vehicles of a fortunate few, born into the lap of luxury spending their ill gotten fortunes on a custom, well made piece of art,...but is the right of every idle American, so that none should be made to feel less than another!

I just figured if people are listing the items they have added to their FJ.
Then just tube bumper just won't cut it.

PostSubject: Re: Bumper by Mike - Big Dog Dewey   Mon Mar 25, 2013 9:31 pm

i gotcha Scotty...i do these bumpers and anything else out of fun and the fact i just like to build stuff...if i can make a little money then great...i learn something new everytime i build something...new technique here...new line there...create a jig ..its just what i love doing ...i would absolutely love to do this full time for my self but i need a bigger place, better lights, more power and a butt load of materials on hand...but i think i do pretty good with what i have...i used to build houses and just about anything to do with "wood"...this is kinda the same stuff but with harder materials ...when you work construction you amass alot of tools and techniques...its the same with metal....so i love this stuff...

so im gonna stick with

D&D Metal Twisting

hows that??
