| ok...since i have a 2011 the windshield washer bottle is in a place of much goofiness. Well it is to me as far as an after market bumper...ok...so the WWB (from hear on out called WWB) is placed in a really stupid place as far as im concerned and hangs really really low. Expedition One makes a bottle replacement kit thta to me is just ABSOLUTELY outrageously over priced...$200. so heres my question...where is the bottle on the 07-09?? im thinking switchout... |

| I think I recall the change having to do with the different air intake, but not sure. If it is as simple as switching for a previous years part, that would be great.

| Mike, you got me curious. After reading a dozen useless threads (people in the blue room who fuss at people for not using the search function are a-holes) I did find this one.

| The cover plate idea seemed simple enough for someone of your skills/resources. |

| so i read the thread you posted Brian and i see three different avenues of approach here...one is to spend an a$$ load of money and go with the Expedition One tank...or fabricate some protective plates/skids....or go the junkyard/older model FJ route. I am gonna do some serious research on this as i have finished with the design of my front bumper...so im gonna need some fix for this problem... |

| I definitely look forward to seeing the outcome. I have hopes of putting on a bumper one day (if I can get the wife on board.). |

| The Expidition one looks great but man it's expensive for what it is. I think you can fab up a used one or make something work. |
