The prices are in line with what Outrider was asking. And in my opinion, they would be worth it the first time you set down on one of those points on a rock....

Stan (HLF)? sells his for $269....but the ALL PROs are .281 wall thickness..so the Allpros are thicker and heavier duty...and adjustable from all pro...pretty good deal if you ask me...start pricing DOM tube...you will find that it IS very expensive...

I love to support local business. I didn't see any link mount guards on his website, just the links themselves.

The All PROS site is stating on 1/8 (or .125) for thickness. Now the Outrider ones are stating 1/4 for thickness. I was hoping someone might have one of these and could comment on either of them.

I do not sell the link guards. They are not all that complicated to make as stated above, if you have the correct tools and a welder. I considered making them at one point but there were already several companies making them.

I do reccomend that no matter what you buy that you go the extra mile and have them welded on. If you go with just the bolt to hold them repeated hits will distort the mounting holes in both the OEM mount and the guard itself.

I'm pretty happy with the All-Pro skids quality, so I'm sure these would do their job well also. I took some pretty hard shots to the skids and sliders Saturday with nothing more than some scratches and small dings.

Thanks Stan. Making them is not an option. Its just not my skill set nor do have the tools. I save money on making furniture Smile , lose money on automotive items Crying or Very sad .

I absolutely agree 100% with having them welded on...as soon as you drag that flat piece across a rock...that bolt is done...could in fact cut it in half...but it will certainly distort it for sure...
